Marianne was an extraordinarily tender, kind young woman, full of light. She was deeply passionate about animals and nature, and she found special joy in lilies and bowling. She had a profound and beautiful desire to keep living and enjoying the world. For two years, Marianne fought Ewing sarcoma with all her strength. When we were told in July 2025 that no more treatment options were available were she was being treated, we moved, fighting tirelessly to find a hospital that had options of her treatment. After facing devastating rejections, we finally found a sarcoma clinic that had an option for Marianne. Sadly, her platelets never rose enough to begin treatment, and she was denied that chance at life.Every step of the way, Marianne showed us the true meaning of bravery and never, ever gave up. Unfortunately, on December 16, 2025, at the age of 22, sarcoma took her from us, but her legacy of courage, love, and sweetness remains with us forever. We share her story so the world remembers her light and to continue raising awareness for this disease.
