Lonnie Pifher

In Loving Memory of Lonnie Alan Pifher April 30, 1980 – July 8, 2026

Lonnie Alan Pifher left us to be with the Lord on July 8, 2026, at 46 years old, after a tough battle with a rare form of sarcoma.

Lonnie was the kind of guy who could strike up a conversation with anyone. He laughed easily and often, and that laugh had a way of pulling everyone around him into it too. He said what he meant, loved without holding back, and was a true free spirit.

Cooking was his gift, and eventually it became his career. He developed menus, shared his talent with others, and built many long-time friendships at the restaurants he worked in through the years. When he wasn’t in a kitchen, you could usually find him outdoors or fishing on the river.

More than anything, Lonnie loved his kids. They were the center of him.

Though his life ended far too soon, those who loved him will remember his infectious laughter, loving heart, adventurous spirit, passion for cooking, and his remarkable ability to make anyone feel like a friend.

Lonnie’s life reminds us that our time here is precious and never guaranteed. May we honor his memory by loving deeply, forgiving freely, being present in each moment, and never waiting to tell the people we love how much they mean to us.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.
