Matching Gifts

Take advantage of your employer's matching gift program and easily increase your gift to SFA.

Employer matching gift programs allow you to take advantage of your employee benefit to make a greater impact. Many organizations will match the value of charitable gifts made by employees, retirees, and/or their spouses. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift!

You can increase your impact in a few simple steps:

  1. Check to see if your employer matches gifts. If you don’t see them in our database, check with your employer’s HR department.

  3. Review the matching gift requirements for your organization and follow the instructions to request a matching gift

The matching gift request is a quick process which must be initiated by the donor. Some employers have an electronic submission process. Other employers have a paper form that must be completed and sent to us for verification. Your employer’s information in our database will provide the information you need to request a matched gift.

You may be able to match a previous gift. Many companies allow employees to submit match requests for up to one year following the date of the donation.

Your matched gift can also be applied to a participant or team for our Race to Cure Sarcoma events or other events. Please be sure this information is included with your gift.
