Mary Vinci

In August 2021, Mary was diagnosed with intimal sarcoma, which is an extremely rare sarcoma. Her journey to fight this disease began at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Mary underwent multiple chemotherapy and radiation treatments with the hope of becoming a candidate for surgery. Mary fought many months to achieve that goal. Mary initially was responding to treatments, but sadly after a 9-month battle of fighting courageously and overcoming many setbacks along the way, Mary passed away on May 17, 2022.

Please find it in your hearts to donate to the Sarcoma Foundation of America to support the foundation’s efforts in finding a cure for all sarcomas. Especially intimal sarcoma, which is an extremely aggressive sarcoma with a poor prognosis.
