Kelly was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in March 2023. Kelly began treatment which included chemotherapy and radiation. Her treatment concluded in November 2023. In December 2023 it was discovered the cancer had spread to her brain. Kelly underwent additional radiation treatment to the tumor sites in her brain. In March 2024 a decision was made to conduct surgery because the radiation was unsuccessful. Two surgeries were performed, one which required Kelly to be conscious during the procedure. MRI’s determined the cancer had spread further into her brain and no additional surgery, chemo or radiation could be performed. Kelly fought her battle with bravery, strength, courage, grace, positivity, was an inspiration to others and had a never give up attitude. Kelly had a beautiful spirit whose light will shine through her friends, loved ones and others whom her life touched.
