Katie Laudick

My cousin Katie was the closest thing I had to an older sister when I was growing up. She inspired me, helped my imagination grow, made countless memories together, taught me about pop culture, and of course introduced me to our hero, Taylor Swift. She diagnosed with Sarcoma at the age of 24 and fought the cancer as it continued to comeback and spread for nearly five years of ups and downs. While she passed in 2021, I still think about her every day and know her memory lives on.

Katie never got to experience her 30s, or many of the milestones that I look forward to in my next decade and beyond. Sarcoma is a form of cancer often affecting young adults, and I’d like to do my part to prevent more young lives from being cut short by supporting the SFA in its research to end Sarcoma. Any contribution to this foundation would be greatly appreciated by me, and the many people impacted by cancer.

Lots of love,
Biz
