Thank You for Helping Us Raise Sarcoma Awareness Around the World

Thank you for your incredible participation in Sarcoma Awareness Month. Your dedication and hard work have helped bring awareness about sarcoma to people all around the world. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without your support and commitment.

However, our work doesn’t stop here. We must continue our efforts to raise awareness, support research, and advocate for those affected by sarcoma. Together, let’s continue to make an impact.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH

We are thrilled by the participation in Wear Yellow Day from individuals, families, friends, and even companies worldwide! Your photos and social media posts have been instrumental in spreading awareness for sarcoma. Together, we made a powerful statement and highlighted the importance of our shared mission throughout July. You can view all of the photos and even add your own here.

The Sarcoma Advocacy Day was a tremendous success! We gathered both in person in Washington, DC, and virtually to meet with legislators and their staff. Together, we discussed the critical issues facing the sarcoma community and advocated for much-needed support and research funding. Thank you to everyone who participated and amplified the voices of the sarcoma community. Your dedication is vital to advancing policies that benefit people diagnosed and living with sarcoma. We are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2025. Save the Date for July 17 – 19 for Sarcoma Advocacy Day, Sarcoma Education Conference and Dinner, and the National Race to Cure Sarcoma. You can view all of the photos from the day here.

The National Race to Cure Sarcoma in Washington, DC, and the National Virtual Race to Cure Sarcoma together raised over $100,000 with hundreds of participants from across the country. Your support helps fund critical research and advocate for sarcoma patients. You can view photos from our DC race here.

Thank you for sharing your stories, honoring those we have lost, celebrating survivors, and supporting patients. On behalf of all sarcoma patients and families we serve, thank you for your unwavering support! You can still participate in our other RTCS events by going here.

We were able to shine a light on sarcoma across the country and even across borders. We appreciate all the buildings, landmarks, and individuals that participated and helped make this happen. If you have photos please email them to mmattioli@curesarcoma.org so we can share them with the community.
