Danny Ferenczi
As one of SFA’s Fundraising Events Managers, Danny co-leads the Race to Cure Sarcoma run/walk event series and oversees other fundraising initiatives. In his role, he collaborates with volunteers, corporate partners, and community organizations to drive engagement and financial success. Danny also manages event logistics, donor relations, volunteer engagement, and sponsorship outreach while developing strategies to grow participation and increase awareness of SFA’s mission.
Prior to joining SFA, Danny was a Development Officer at the All Stars Project of Chicago, where he played a key role in fundraising event production, donor stewardship, and growing relationships with corporate and foundation partners. He co-sales directed ASP of Chicago’s Spring and Fall Galas, raising over $750,000 annually, and managed all corporate and foundation sponsorships for the events. Additionally, he was part of the national Annual Campaign team, supporting fundraising efforts through direct mail, email solicitations, and donor engagement initiatives.
Danny is also the Executive Director of Performing Arts Workshops (PAW), a small arts education non-profit based in his hometown of Niles, MI. A fierce advocate for accessible youth arts education, he oversees programming, fundraising, and event production, ensuring that students have meaningful opportunities to grow in the performing arts. Under his leadership, PAW continues to expand its reach, providing scholarships, community performances, and mentorship opportunities for young artists throughout Southwest Michigan.
In addition to his work in fundraising, event production, and arts leadership, Danny is a professional actor and teaching artist based in Chicago. He regularly performs on stages across the city while mentoring young artists and championing arts accessibility. Danny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Valparaiso University.
