Sarcoma Awareness Month Social Media Toolkit

Join the Sarcoma Community to spread awareness during Sarcoma Awareness Month! We’ve created a comprehensive social media toolkit to make it easy for you to share important information and engage your network.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month, a dedicated time to shine a light on one of the most misunderstood and underrecognized cancers. Sarcoma is a rare cancer of the bones and soft tissues, accounting for only about 1% of all adult cancer diagnoses. Yet despite its rarity, it affects thousands of patients and families every year, and many go months without a correct diagnosis simply because awareness is so low.

That’s where you come in.

Whether you’re a patient, survivor, caregiver, clinician, or advocate, your voice matters. When more people know the warning signs, when more researchers receive funding, and when more patients feel seen, outcomes improve.

Help us improve outcomes by sharing information on social media. Here’s how to get started:

You don’t need to be a marketing expert to make an impact. Simply choose the posts that resonate with you, personalize them with your own story or message if you’d like, and share them with your network. Every post, repost, and conversation helps build the visibility that the sarcoma community deserves.

Together, we can make July the month the world learns what sarcoma is and why it matters.

Use the hashtag #SarcomaAwarenessMonth to join the conversation and connect with advocates around the world.
