Renuka Bhaskar
Renuka Bhaskar joined Sarcoma Foundation of America in April 2026. She serves as the Senior Manager, Data Strategy and Analytics, working to advance the organization’s data strategy to ensure high-quality, trusted, and actionable insights that support decision-making.
Prior to joining SFA, Renuka was a senior researcher at the U.S. Census Bureau where she worked for 21 years. Her research used a combination of survey, decennial census, and administrative records data to study topics including access to nutrition assistance programs, post-incarceration employment, and reporting of race, ethnicity, and health insurance. Renuka also contributed to the development of the Census Bureau’s annual Population Estimates. Renuka has experience serving non-profit organizations, and currently serves on the board of an Alexandria, Virginia non-profit, Space of Her Own. She holds a Masters in Geography from the Ohio State University.
In addition to her experience, Renuka brings a personal connection and commitment to SFA’s mission to advance sarcoma research and improve patient outcomes.
