Pan Pantziarka
Pan has worked in oncology for nearly 15 years, following the death of his son, George, from osteosarcoma. As a scientist his main areas of focus have been on sarcoma, cancer predisposition and drug repurposing. As a patient advocate he has focused on bone sarcomas, ultra-rare sarcomas and Li Fraumeni Syndrome (LFS). He is the chairman and co-founder of the UK LFS patient organisation the George Pantziarka TP53 Trust and a co-leader of the Bone Sarcoma Alliance. By training he has PhD in computer science and machine learning and continues to be involved in data science in the service of sarcoma patients.
