Steven Drovie, 27, of Cooper City, Florida, passed away peacefully with is family by his side on June 15th, 2022 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.
Steven was born October 19, 1994 in Hollywood, Florida. He was known for being a kind, helpful and funny person. He loved being outdoors and working with his hands. He was an active member of the scouting community starting in first grade as a Cub Scout until he was 18 years old, completing the highest rank of scouting, Eagle Scout, with Troop 118 in Davie, Florida. During his time in scouts, Steven made many lifelong friends, enjoyed camping trips and did extensive traveling. His favorite trips being snowboarding in WV & NC, whitewater rafting down the Nantahala, and traveling abroad to Italy and Greece.
Steven graduated from Nova High School in 2013 and went to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. He went on to trade school for his certification in welding.
Steven is predeceased by Grandparents Don Pruitt and Paulette Pruitt.
Left to cherish his memory are his Mother, Deborah Linne, Step-Dad; Ted Linne, Sister; Kelly Drovie and Fiancé, Chad Clausnitzer and their Daughter; Sadie Clausnitzer, Grandparents; Terry and Marybeth Linne, Aunts and Uncles; Wes and Donna Hyde, Jeff and Jennifer Boutet, Cousins; Victoria, Wesley, Joey, Josh, Jake, as well as his beloved canine companion, Athena (Tina).
Steven was courageous in his battle with Sarcoma, he fought a great fight, celebrated every success and kept making plans, his determination was inspiring. Please support this foundation in Steven’s memory, so we can make a difference in the lives of others.
